A: Thank you for your question! The metal part of the scoop is made from Zinc Alloy, giving it superior strength, corrosion-resistance and wear-resistance. This material is food safe and also allows our scoop to have its unique shape which digs into frozen ice cream with ease.

**Q: Do the ice cream scoops come out nice and round?**
A: I recommend keeping a hot water container handy to dip scoop in before use and you will get a beautiful ice cream scoop for pie and cake topper.

**Q: What is the scoop measurement, meaning is it 1/2 or 1/4 scoop??**
A: I would say it is at least a 1/2 scoop. With some wrist action you can get a lot of Ice cream in it.
