Review: Great silicone, before the price hike! - This silicone is great, durable, captures detail very well and easy to mix thanks to one side having a yellow pigment. However now that the price has gone up I will be looking elsewhere, as it is just too over priced for what you get. The bottles are a pain as you have a lot of wastage due to not being able to get everything out of them, which again with the price being what it is becomes a bigger issue. I've found an alternative over at Mouldlife and have just paid £36 plus postage for 2kg of a similar silicone.

- CHARACTERISTICS: R PRO 30 is a 1:1 silicone rubber by liquid addition with high resistance to tearing. Suitable for modeling and moldmaking, this silicone rubber is very versatile and ideal for making high hardness molds (30 shore) which allow you to reproduce even the smallest details.
- HIGH PERFORMANCE: R PRO 30 mold silicone faithfully copies even the smallest details allowing you to make 20% more castings than other silicone rubbers and the molds have no linear shrinkage. It is a very fluid rubber that guarantees easy mixing and does not need to be degassed with vacuum machines.
- HARDNESS: The catalysed rubber allows you to make soft (hardness 30 ShoreA) and very elastic molds with a high resistance to tearing, the processing time is 45 minutes while the hardening time is 3 hours.
- MOLDS PERFORMANCE: The physical life of the mold depends on how it is used (cast materials, frequency, etc.). Casting abrasive materials such as concrete can quickly erode mold detail, while casting non-abrasive materials (wax) does not affect mold detail.
- NOTE: Sulfur-based modeling clay is NOT compatible and may inhibit the catalysis of R PRO rubbers.

This silicone is great, durable, captures detail very well and easy to mix thanks to one side having a yellow pigment. ### ⭐ no where near net 1000g as stated

needed 790g bought 1000g as there may have been wastage mixed it got just under 800g but after pouring lost 60g and fell short really annoyed should have had 210g left over not fall short of 60g hope i can salvage the situation when it has hardened. i mean i hope i can get the object i was trying to cast and reuse it as it was unique. we will see as for the product well so far 0 points for not being acurate to weights and measures, by the way i slit the tubes it came in to slices and scraped every reminant so i know the quantity was incorrect. If anyone wishes to use this product then may i sugest buying twice as much as you need as thats their maths but at this platinum price this will prove very expensive am very disapointed and believe in uk against law to state a weight but not provide it.
