Works very well from 4" to 24" I wish I had bought this before the LED. A lot less money, for excellent results. No comparison. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ good light, HID is better? *by B***S on December 14, 2013* Been running this light for about 3 months now. for the price, i thought it was good when i was looking at a few HID light comparisons. however, this thing only puts out about the same lumens as a 250w HID kit, but draws around 400w. I did a little more research and can get a 600w HID for around the same price, if you include the fact that the kit will include both a MH and HPS (you'd need to get the red spectrum bulbs for this, which are ~10 per bulb, so your price would increase ~30 on top of this price.if you do a quick search on ebay (revolt 600w HPS) you'll see plenty of kits in the 200 USD range that would easily top this kit.the only benefit i can say is heat, but IMO, thats kind of BS due to the fact that these 95 watters put out some intense heat. i cant get the bulbs any closer than about 7" without heat being an issue and thats WITH circulation fans. i do not have a venting system setup yet (well i have it, but just not 100% set up yet).for the money, go HID if you can vent. use these as supplemental lighting. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ very nice *by P***T on June 6, 2014* Love how this light is low heat and plenty of light.
