A: Yes. After you put the long piece on the back of the tire you were still able to use your tire cover over it, all you’ll have to do is when you want to use it remove the tire cover and put the rack on and lock it it

The media could not be loaded. Design is a good idea however the middle bolt with a locking mechanism is now stuck. If you lock it it’ll turn to prevent somebody from stealing it no problem. However if it is unlocked in order to be removed it does not grip the bolts underneath and turns as if it were locked. meaning I cannot return this device because I cannot take it off my spare tire without breaking the mechanism if someone can just please send me a new bolt with the locking part attached I can break off the current one and replace with a new working part. There is no way for me to upload pictures or a video of what’s going on for a refund it just wants me to send it back but I can’t send them back because it’s stuck to my car. Video shows proof
