Smell was well blended and sophisticated. Not just plain almond. I could smell almond when it was just the bar, but less so when it was a lather; the other notes came out. Wonderful. It is not a strong fragrance while shaving.The bar is semi-soft, and I was able to pinch a portion off with my finger and spread it on the bottom of my bowl.Comes in a white cardboard box with that Valobra label on it. Then inside it is almost wax paper ... maybe more like white butcher paper, then when you unwrap that, the bar is found again wrapped in a plastic film. Very nice.
