A: Yes. Overhead light when running.

A: This engine is DCC ready meaning it is wired to put the decoder of choice in the engine. Im not sure about part 2 of your question.

**Q: Run with Bachmann transformer?**
A: You should only run sound locomotive on a dcc transformer
