STAY AWAY!!! 1) If the unit is refurbished like this was you'll need to contact Guardzilla to remove the "Not Authorized user" error that comes up when setting it up. That was a headache because I was on hold for 40 min.. gave up and called back the next day when they open and provided the UID and they removed it from the previous owner's account. 2) The Night vision doesn't work ... my fault for buying refurbished and this is what I get.. just a black screen at night. Emailed for support and nothing for the last 14 days. 3) The app is terrible... You have to go in there to start recording and I set mine to record continuously... well after a full 24hrs I go to check the video and nothing.. the settings reset! I then do a hard reset and try again... same thing after a few hours... Not the SD card because I've tried multiple cards... definitely the unit 4) Purchased another unit ( I guess I didn't learn my lesson the first time) This one the night vision and recording works great! When one of my dogs got into something at night I went to check the video and the freaking screen freezes after the first 30 second in night vision! Purchase right away. I am an average computer user, not too high-tech, but was easily able to install the Guardzilla on my iPhone in a matter of minutes. I have noticed that my iPhone battery life is depleting a lot faster now, but I'm sure that is because of the frequency of me viewing the camera to see what cute little Fido is doing. The coverage area for the camera is pretty good, I can see the majority of the room easily, which is nice. I am planning on purchasing another one for another location in my home because this camera suits my needs very well. Anyone else have this issue & were you able to resolve it?** A: It could also be you have a Motorola Droid phone which for some reason is not able to link the indoor camera to wifi. I had no problems hooking up the outdoor camera. Tried all options on Guardzilla website to hook up the indoor camera and nothing worked. Called Guardzilla several times over 4 days after spending a lot of hours trying everything. Finally sent email and got a response 3 days later got a response asking many questions about problem, router make and model, Guardzilla device Mac address, service provider and cell phone make and model. Answered these questions and got a prompt reply that there is a problem hooking the indoor camera up to wifi on a Motorola Droid. They told me Motorola service would help me get the camera to connect to wifi. I called Motorola and they are aware of problem but have no idea if or when they will have a solution. Guardzilla is the manufacturer so they should have a resolution or tell Motorola Droid phone users to return it for a refund. I hope all you Motorola Droid users see this. And who knows what other phones have this problem? **Q: Can two phones be set up on this devise** A: Yes Rose we have 4 phones on it. It is an app that you put on your phone and it receives the video feed so it doesn't matter how many phones use it. **Q: I'm getting a ticking noise every once and awhile from the Guardzilla, is this normal? I had an older model I had to exchange and it didn't make it.** A: I get that noise as well, I always assumed it was normal since my unit made the noise since the day I got it.
