Very Informative! - Being someone who thought themselves how to pray at the age of 18, I always questioned whether I was doing it right. I would see people at the mosque that prayed a little differently than me. So I decided to get this book. By the way I'm Sunni (if that matters to some). This book is absolutely amazing! If you're a new comer to Islam or just trying to make sure you're praying right this is the book for you. It has VERY clear instructions with pictures on how to pray. The best part about the book is the fact it offers the transliteration for everything. My first language is English and my second language is Urdu. So reading Arabic for me is a bit of challenge. This book also explains what it is you're reciting during each part of prayer. The book is very short, I read the entire thing in 25 minutes. And just incase you're wondering, I was happy to know I wasn't praying wrong at all, but I did learn something new. I learned the meanings of the recitations in prayer. I have since purchased several copies and give them out to converts regularly. The book breaks down the prayer into parts so that you are comfortable with each part as you master it. It seems a little confusing if you read through the whole thing, but trust the process… follow the steps as they are listed and once you master a step, move to the next one. It is permissible to hold this while you pray and read out of it until you have memorized it completely. As a non-Arabic speaker, I love that it leaves the longer memorization parts until the last step.
