Review: Childhood favourite - My son loved this as a child, and wanted it for his own son (two years old). He loves trains at the moment, and It has immediately become a favourite. He is also learning the colours. Simple and brilliant. Be aware that it is basically an American book, and the original has slightly different terminology. I bought that version by mistake at first.

My son loved this as a child, and wanted it for his own son (two years old). He loves trains at the moment, and It has immediately become a favourite. He is also learning the colours. Simple and brilliant. Be aware that it is basically an American book, and the original has slightly different terminology. I bought that version by mistake at first.

An every night read for my 2 year old! He simply loves this book, and trains. In combination with playing with his train sets he has learnt not only the colours, and more details of the trains, but concepts of under, over, through as well. Simple, yet effective.
