Unhook the hose to your carb and crank the motor. If no gas comes out, yet you can "suck" gas from the tank through the filter feeding it, you need a new gas pump. Installation is an easy as 123. Buy two to keep one in-stock; they are cheap enough. Today's gas gums these up and warps the chamber valves after maybe two years.
