Some are a light, golden beige, whereas this is green.** A: There are three different colors in cardamom. Green, white and black. Green cardamom ground from the pod has the "most vibrant and balanced" flavor. This band, "Simply Organic" is wonderful. I've used McCormick cardamom and it is far more expensive and not as rich in flavor.
