The edges are well sewn. The material is very soft, actually much better than expected. It is a weaved material, the type I cannot attest. I am good with my purchase and I would buy again. So why 4 stars? The dimensions are off on mine. Mine is 8" shorter than described. And the camo print is only on one side. Neither of which are deal breakers. If you wash it using regular clothes detergent it will brighten the colors as with any material. I hand washed mine using Dawn, the colors are great and subdued. I hung it folded twice in the sun. It was dry in 10 minutes on a sunny 77 degree day.
