Save yourself a whole lot of time over a hot stove fussing over the stock for your soup. It’s very tasty and it’s also spicy. I love the heat this base has, but others may not. I have also used this base to infuse its flavor into bouillon based stock, regular homemade beef, chicken and vegetable stocks. Absolutely love that extra punch of flavor and spice it adds. Next, I’m going to add it to plain white rice and see how that goes.

this isn’t like traditional tasting Pho, this is like a different Vietnamese soup. still tastes good enough, a little spicy, but not what I wanted. obviously with the different language it’s difficult to tell exactly what you’re getting here. just want people to know that.
