I think it had less than 300 fps back in the day. The darts have a shoulder on them to prevent overpenetration. If you are using these for anything other than a dartboard in an indoor environment, consider you will probably have to paint them or coat them in a way to increase their diameter, to allow them to take better advantage of the pressure in a higher FPS airgun. You still shouldnt really hunt with them, because of the penetration barrier. But if you like seeing things running around your yard with darts sticking out of them, you probably have other concerns that need to be addressed and you're not going to listen to me, telling you not to do it. The other thing I can say is using them in anything rated much past 300 fps is going to reduce their service life, even if youre just shooting the side of your shed from a few yards away. They arent designed for high FPS impacts, and will eventually loose their "reusable" status. I shot mine out of the gun pictured in the ad, (Umarex Ruger) which has a FPS rating not incredibly greater than than the original Marksman repeater. No, it will not "ruin your rifling". I'm sure some darts may, but these wont. Fwiw, I shot a leather workboot from 12" away. It went all the way through, until it was stopped by the shoulder. So, yes, it's for gaming, but not game.
