The Quoya QL500 is a motorized smart electric curtain track and rod — a fully automatic curtain opener and closer that turns the drapes you already own into smart curtains. Control with Alexa, Google Home and Siri (iPhone and Apple Watch) via the free Tuya/Smart Life app. A reinforced aluminum rail and quiet motor glide heavy, blackout, velvet, lined, pinch-pleat and pencil-pleat drapes across wide and large windows. Build your exact length with no cutting (8 runners per meter); follow our free online installation portal for step-by-step videos. Review: Excellent electric curtain system - This system is quiet, reliable and solidly built. I bought the 16 foot size, for a fairly heavy curtain, and was concerned it might not handle the weight, and I am very pleased. It is made of thick aluminum, with strong connectors between track segments. The motor, track bands, hangers are well made and strong. The assembly was not intuitive, but they provided a number of video instruction links which were clear. All hardware was provided however because my curtains are 16 feet long, it was short some hangers which were not available for this model thru desertcart. I emailed the company and they sent me more hangers free. The price is great compared to the alternatives. Delivery time was short (I had to wait anyway until my wife was out of town to put it up). I assembled and mounted the whole thing myself, but I recommend having an assistant to make it easier. Overall, a fun project, and great result at an excellent price!

This system is quiet, reliable and solidly built. I bought the 16 foot size, for a fairly heavy curtain, and was concerned it might not handle the weight, and I am very pleased. It is made of thick aluminum, with strong connectors between track segments. The motor, track bands, hangers are well made and strong. The assembly was not intuitive, but they provided a number of video instruction links which were clear. All hardware was provided however because my curtains are 16 feet long, it was short some hangers which were not available for this model thru Amazon. I emailed the company and they sent me more hangers free. The price is great compared to the alternatives. Delivery time was short (I had to wait anyway until my wife was out of town to put it up). I assembled and mounted the whole thing myself, but I recommend having an assistant to make it easier. Overall, a fun project, and great result at an excellent price!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice product, awful experience connecting using the app but in the end works with Home Assistant

OK, first the good stuff. This is a really nice high quality curtain track - the extrusions are really nice, the fit and finish is great, and it's pretty easy to install. The bluetooth remote is also easy to pair with the motor unit and it is super simple to switch the motor direction if open and close are the wrong way round - just press the little black button 5 times... The not so good stuff - the screws supplied to mount the wall brackets are thin, and don't work well with the plastic drywall plugs, and worse - if they happen to screw into wood they are very thin and tend to break off (using a 20v DeWalt drill, not an impact driver) The awful stuff - connecting to wifi. What a performance...it took me 3 days to finally get this to work, after trying 2 different phones and setting up a new wifi system just for this ...it turns out that SmartLife (the Tuya app) is very bad at changing wifi systems. What worked for me was using a PC to monitor wifi networks, and a phone to connect: 1. Phone on the correct wifi network, in the SmartHome app, wifi curtains selected, slow LED flash button selected 2. Power up the motor 3. Press the button 3 times, light flashes 4. On the PC, display wifi networks, wait until SmartLife_xxxx appears 5. On the phone, connect to SmartLife_xxxx, return to the SmartLife app 6. On the PC, wait till the SmartLife_xxxx wifi goes away 7. On the phone, connect back to the wifi network the motor is being set up on. 8. On the phone, return to the SmartLife app After doing this, it works beautifully in Home Assistant using the Tuya Local integration.. Hopefully this will save others some of the pain ...
