Review: Brilliant Headphones - I purchased these headphones earlier this year. They are absolutely brilliant headphones. My go to headphones were my B&W P9 Signature which I loved. The Sundara out perform them in many ways. First you need a headphone amp to get the best out these phones. Secondly they sound their best with some EQ. I listen to them in a portable set up at home. I have them connected to my Chord Mojo to my Android phone. I have replaced the cables with Koala Cables. I am using Gothic Audio pure silver otg usb c cable. My music app is USB Audio Player Pro. I've gone into the settings and selected Morphlt and looked up my EQ setting for Hifiman Sundara. Also set it on Bit-perfect. The sound from my music library is wonderful. Looking to upgrade my headphone amp for the ifi ids Signature in the furture. These headphones are a best buy to enter the audiophile domain.

I purchased these headphones earlier this year. They are absolutely brilliant headphones. My go to headphones were my B&W P9 Signature which I loved. The Sundara out perform them in many ways. These are probably the best all round headphones you can buy. Compared to other planars these are cheap, they have a great soundstage and clarity for gaming, and obviously awesome for music and music production. They just have such a clean and detailed sound. Some people may prefer a bit more bass, but they are definitely capable of some awesome bass with a bit of an EQ or if the DAC you use supports it, a bass button of sorts. I paired this if the iFi Zen Dac, and it is absolutely awesome. a few cons although, the build quality feels a bit cheap, it has held up for almost 3-4 years with no problems, but to the touch it does feel cheap. And the cable that comes with the headphones are excellent for filling up a bin. Do some research on a nice balanced cable and get more out of these headphones.
