I have a large garden and like to make vegetable smoothies. I clean and blanch the vegetables (spinach, carrots, beets, squash, etc.) and puree them in my VitaMix blender. I then pour the puree into the muffing pans and freeze them. 2 muffin pans fit on a cookie sheet, so I can freeze 48 cubes. When done they pop out nicely, and I put the cubes in a large freezer bag for storage. Then, when I make smoothies, I simply put a few of the cubes of my choice in and enjoy. I can also use the cubes for making soups or adding to things like meatloaf, breads, etc. In the past I used ice cube trays, but these muffin pans are much more efficient, easier to use, and easier to clean than traditional ice cube trays. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Another 'must have' in the kitchen. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 16, 2015* I find it hard to go past silicone bakeware. I made the switch some years ago and this 24 cup mini muffin pan is as good as any I've used.My muffins cooked very evenly and literally fell out of the pan when turned upside down. Prior to cooking I did not 'grease' the cups and there was no baked on mess - not a mark on the pan in fact so very little cleaning was required.The pan is very flexible and needs to be placed on an oven tray before filling to ease putting in and taking out of the oven. Its flexibility is a great advantage when storing though - just fold or roll it up to fit the space you have available.I look forward to baking a variety of mini morsels in this great little pan.
