The picture and sound quality are both very good indeed and the 4 HDMI and other connectors allow other equipment - in my case a Sky Satellite box, a Hotbird Satellite box, a video/DVD recorder and a DVD player to be easily operated. It works well as a Smart TV with a variety of built-in options including Prime TV, YouTube etc. I am using a standard antenna to receive Freeview HD but FreeSat HD is also built-in for use with a satellite dish. Easy setup.Happy buyer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Shame about the HDMI ARC port not working *by M***S on 23 January 2021* I am delighted no in fact I did love the picture quality of this TV, does what it says in the description as in true to real life colours & tonal range simply SUPERB!!I am very SAD on the picture quality alone to send this TV back for a number of reasons.1) I had delivery issues with 1st TV having a smashed TV screen, I got a replacement easily.2) The sound out of the TV wasn't too cracking lacking that PAZZAZ! Not loud enough & no real bass to the sound.So I ended up buying a soundbar for this unit, never had one before and have been thinking about one, sound isgreat through sound bar thru optical port.However this is where I found an issue on the HDMI ARC port my prefered preference, NO sound output from portcan control the volume but still no sound. Sound works on my LG TV through the soundbar, but not on this TVport faulty. I spoke to Panasonic tech support they said send it back, which I did, I upgraded from the 580 modelto the 600 model where that model had the same issue. Panasonic tech said something about the sound formats,maybe my soundbar doesn't support the format outputted. [Insert your swear word of choice here]!! I just expectit to work regardless of sound format, there's plenty that are standard!3) The onboard menu system very clunky, when I used my Satellite Box through the HDMI port, I cannot bring up thesettings / menu using the button. I have to do plenty of faffing around to get there. So firmware not good on thismodel, could live with it though but would bug me.4) Am appalled at the level of customer service with Amazon trying to sort this saga out, great in some areas butvery poor in others5) In this world of box shifting, I couldn't get to the bottom of if I could have had the sound issue fix or resolved insome way.You maybe wondering why I have given it such a high rating, that's just me being optimistic, if it wasn't for these issues I would be overjoyed with this TV.
