The bamboo/palm leaf material feels solid and looks quite elegant - much nicer than your typical flimsy paper plates. The pudding plates included are especially nice: good size, nice texture, and they look quite tasteful on the table. In terms of function, it does its job - holds food, doesn't leak, and is sturdy enough for everyday use (or for parties).
