I hadn't heard of Zax's before, but I was intrigued by its pharmacist-developed formula and natural ingredients...so I decided to give it a try. It actually *does* provide effective itch relief, and it feels soothing on itchy, irritated skin.The only reasons I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I prefer products with ingredients like camphor that provide an immediate cooling sensation for instant relief (this one has menthol, but the cooling effect isn't as pronounced) and because this is about 3x the cost of the mass-market brands I typically use. Is this an effective, high-quality product? Yes...it performs great and I'm very satisfied with it. But is it 3x better than the $5 creams/gels I usually buy?
