This is because they are displayed within clear plastic and I’m sure that with storing at the warehouse and shipping they rubbed on other services which ended up scratching the surface of the numbers. I would’ve returned them but since all of them came scratched I figured they were all gonna be scratched up anyways. I just mounted them since they were going on the house and people are going to look at them from far away.
