One serving of macaroons has about 5 mg of sodium. That’s very low for a food product. If you have high blood pressure or heart failure the product is mist likely acceptable for you unles you eat the entire container at once. Americans eat too much sodium, used heavily in prepared foods. Unless you are on a sodium restricted diet 2000 mgm per day of dietary sodium should be okay. Eggs are listed as an ingredient because some people are allergic to egg products. If you have an egg allergy stay away from products containing eggs whether they are whole eggs or egg whites.
