Review: Great light for the price! - I took a chance on this light and I 'm glad I did! I have since bought a second one for another tank. I have this on a 10gallon tank, and I feel like it's the perfect size. I love the simplistic timer. Color coded to reflect which length of time to be on and turns on each time at the exact time you've pressed the button. No need to input the local time, just turn it on at the time you need it and choose the length of time. I have it set on the 10hr. It's growing my plants great and there is 10 different brightness levels with several different modes, white only, full color, blue only, etc. Great light. Plus with it being a clip on, it also gives ample light to grow pothos in the back as well!

**Q: Would this fit on a 10 gallon tank that has the lip on the top?**
A: Yes, it will fit.

**Q: The wire enters the water in order for the light to fit.  Is that normal?**
A: Umm...no, no wires in the water.....just find a way to clip it (screw it down with the bracket..? Maybe on the edge of the tank.

**Q: Does it remember settings after power outage?**
A: no

**Q: How much clearance does this light require?**
A: The arm is very flexible but sturdy.  Can bend it down to 3 or 4 inch clearance.

I took a chance on this light and I 'm glad I did! I have since bought a second one for another tank. I have this on a 10gallon tank, and I feel like it's the perfect size. I love the simplistic timer. Color coded to reflect which length of time to be on and turns on each time at the exact time you've pressed the button. No need to input the local time, just turn it on at the time you need it and choose the length of time. I have it set on the 10hr. It's growing my plants great and there is 10 different brightness levels with several different modes, white only, full color, blue only, etc. Great light. Plus with it being a clip on, it also gives ample light to grow pothos in the back as well!

I have been using it for a while and I have to say that the design of this timer/dimmer is really easy to use. It has 9 levels of brightness, and I can choose the brightness I want. In addition, it can also be timed. I set a 6-hour timed mode. At the same time on another day, the light will automatically turn on and off. It's so convenient!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great light for larger tanks

I purchased two of these for my 125 gallon acrylic tank. They fit on the side of my tank, which is hard to find. Most clip on lights are too small. I also like how these lights are adjustable. I can move the light around and position it where I need it. These lights are also not very hot, which is good with acrylic. Heat can potentially warp. They are bright enough for a large tank, but you need two in order to illuminate a 6 ft tank. I like the timer feature, but mine do not work consistently. I will set it to shut off in 12 hours, and it will work for several days and then stop. It still works, but it would be nice if it was consistent. The lights each have three settings for white, bright light, blue lights with more color? Really good for the price.
