Review: Darling, fun little gift! - Great gift for Uncle that is bird lover! He wants another bird but is sick and unable to care for one right now. Gave him these charming little birds to put in his cage. Birds were able to mimic whistling the Andy Griffith theme which tickled him no end. Only down side is there no volume control and it can be loud and it also picks up and repeats background noise. Still great value for money!
Review: Grandkids loved! - The birds are difficult to take off the perch which is a good thing. I had to reseat one of the birdies to make it work but that is explained in the instructions. If I had to buy again, I would go for the single bird instead of the duo. Everything is repeated twice with them. Very fun and beautiful to look at.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceeded expectations. Wife and I love it.

I inserted the three AA batteries and then my wife and I set these two parakeets on the mantle and laughed for about twenty minutes. Everything worked. They talk and sing on their own, or they repeat whatever you say, but translated into a high parakeet tone of voice. The two birds operate independently; they do not move or speak at the same time, suggesting that there are two channels in the base. Everything moves, the tail, wings, head, beak, and body. It is amazing the amount of mechanical and electronic gadgetry that went into these. The only thing it doesn't do is respond to movement in the room, but we have an older model that does that. If this one breaks tomorrow, we still got our money's worth.
