**Q: Was this lipstick manufactured in 2012? Or is it a new one?**
A: I am not sure how one would determine when the lipstick was manufactured, but it looked new to me.  I would think a seven-year-old lipstick would look like it had some age to it.  Hope this helps!  I might add this is one of the nicer lipsticks I have ever used.

Love this lipstick - particularly the pigment rich colour, with its silvery frosted shimmer. It's smooth texture is lovely to wear and it seems very compatible with all my lip pencils. I had been buying this for many years but it was discontinued about 2-3 years ago and is not longer available in Aust. since repackaging in the Colour Elixir range. It used to be part of an older range in a black lipstick canister. Only just spotted it recently through Amazon, but it doesn't appear to be readily available, or is in limited supply. I hope it stays for a while yet!
