Good question. Sorry I can't say for sure as I have not used heat in any craft process with this product. Have you Googled this question or contacted the manufacturer, you should be able to find out more that way. My guess is you might need to consider a clear resin for your coasters. I am no expert on resin but I have used it and I suspect it might be more heat-resistant than Liquid Glass. Anyhow, best of luck with your project, and try Google at any rate I'd you haven't done so already. **Q: Do you use like epoxy or apply via brish roller ?** A: Use like epoxy and smooth out with palette knife. **Q: Can I use this like glossy accents?
