I have but my roommates have not.** A: I haven't read the books yet and love to play the game. We've used this as a start to player characters in Dungeons and Dragons. Build your PC off what you ended up with in the game. We weren't even aware there were books until much later. **Q: Can i combine this with the core game, or do i have to remove cards like the name of the wind expansion?** A: We combine with the core game, just so we have more boards and can have more than 4 people playing. I can say that this game scratched both itches super well! As a Cosmere fan, it was very cool to see all the artwork and story pieces from the Stormlight series, and it’s was amazing to feel like you are getting involved in the story. But even were I not a Stormlight fan, this game was just fun in its own right. It’s a good balance of different strategic options, giving you meaningful decisions to make throughout the game. At the same time, it’s not a difficult game to learn (i.e., it’s a game with depth of strategy, not depth from rule complexity).
