Review: good refrigerator - I bought this refrigerator over a year ago. It's been working real good , haven't had any trouble with it. But it's time to defrost. Just haven't had the time. It doesn't get real icy inside but just enough to get your attention. That's the only thing that I forgot to look for when I bought it was wether or not it was frost free or not. It's not, but I do wish it was since I'm a bit handicapped. I'm cat loves laying on top of the refrigerator to look out the window behind it. And yes I left the plastic on top of the frig so it would stay shiny when I finally take it off. BUT I do wish it was frost free, just couldn't afford the price. The price was right on this frig and the height and width was just right for my needs, so all in all I'm pleased with my purchase of this refrigerator.

**Q: Description states refrigerator and freezer lights but reviews say not. Which is it?**
A: My 7.1 cu ft version with the retro style and non reversible, left-sided handles (currently pictured) has no freezer light, but it does come with a fridge bulb.

**Q: Has anyone had issues with condensation dripping down the back?**
A: It sounds like the doors are out of alignment. Here's a tutorial how to resolve:
How to Reduce & Resolve Frost Buildup in Upright Freezers, Refrigerator and Freezer Compartments of Refrigerators.
Frost occurs when moisture in ambient air touches the cold evaporator coils, metal shelves and interior sides of a freezer or refrigerator.
Steps you can take to reduce frost build up:
Move your hand around the outside of the freezer/refrigerator door. If you feel cold air, then the door is not sealing adequately. 
You can adjust the door by loosening the top hinge to reposition/adjust the freezer door to create a tight seal.
Adjust the front levelling feet of your unit such that the front of the unit is slightly higher than the rear. Gravity will assist the door to close with a proper seal.
TIP: Close the door on a dollar bill (or similar). The dollar bill should not easily pull out - there should be some resistance. Perform the “Dollar Bill Test” on the top, sides, bottom of your freezer door, and adjust accordingly.
Do not over fill your freezer to prevent food items from shifting and preventing the freezer door from closing properly.
Place only cool or cold food items in your refrigerator or freezer. Hot foods introduce humidity into the food storage compartment, which contributes to frost build up. Allow hot foods to cool before placing them in the refrigerator or freezer.
Wrap foods tightly with plastic wrap. Butcher paper is not an adequate wrapping material. Glass container lids typically do not provide a proper seal.
Dry the exterior of food before storing. By the time you reach home after purchasing frozen foods, the food items may have defrosted a bit and moisture may have already developed on packaging. 
Reduce the amount of time the door remains open. Labelling and organizing your foods so you can easily identify them will help shorten the number and duration of freezer trips. 
Set the freezer temperature so the freezers interior compartment stays around 0F (-18C), as higher and lower temperature settings contribute to frost build up.
Door Seal Care:
Keep the door seal clean. You can clean your door seal with a solution of one tsp of baking soda to a quart of lukewarm water. Pour the solution onto a clean sponge, and wipe it over the seal. Sponge off the solution with clear water and dry the seal with a clean cloth before closing the freezer door.
Keep the door seal flexible by lubricating it with some petroleum jelly (e.g. Vaseline). Wipe it on and wipe it off with a clean dry cloth.

Packaging and Delivery The refrigerator arrived in a box with some visible tears and holes. Unfortunately, despite the plastic coating/seal, the unit had two dents, which were disappointing given the otherwise sleek stainless steel design. Size and Fit The compact dimensions fit perfectly in my apartment space, offering ample storage for one person. It’s semi-lightweight, making it easy to move and install without too much effort. Design and Aesthetics The stainless steel finish is modern and attractive, with a stylish logo and brand design. However, the dents detracted from its overall high-quality look. Functionality and Features The two-door design is convenient, providing separate spaces for the fridge and freezer. Both compartments feel spacious enough for one person’s needs, possibly two if meals aren’t prepped in advance. The freezer is smaller but adequate for limited storage. The shelves are adjustable and easy to remove for cleaning, but frost buildup—especially in the freezer section—can be an issue over time. Cooling Performance While the fridge maintains a consistent temperature, the freezer tends to fluctuate depending on how full it is. Frost buildup in the back of the freezer is another minor drawback that requires occasional maintenance. Noise Level The fridge is noticeably noisy, with random creaks and “start-up” sounds that take some getting used to.
