They (the Sexy LED brand) were priced more reasonably via Chin Chin lighting on Amazon rather than on the manufacturer's website.However, after the first 2 to 3 months, one had stopped working. I originally purchased over a dozen, so I was hoping it was a fluke. I was not able to find a way to contact Chin Chin directly so I had to contact Amazon. Amazon took care of the problem and issued a refund. I placed an order for the same bulb (from the same seller) as a replacement.Not even two weeks later, four more of the bulbs had stopped working! At this point, I knew it couldn't have been a fluke, but rather they were most likely knock-offs of the actual brand LED bulbs. Amazon again came to the rescue and I will not be re-purchasing from the same seller. I am getting concerned if the remaining bulbs may also stop working.Also, if this helps, the color varies from one bulb to another. I am currently looking up at them as I am writing this, and two of the bulbs have more of a yellow color and three have a pinkish color. They are fairly bright, dim well but do not fully dim.**********I am updating this review to report that an additional 8 bulbs have since stopped working! This includes both the silver and gold bases. I see that the seller has since changed the description from, "Sexy LED's" to , "ChinChinLighting." I imagine they are the same exact bulb. ### ⭐ Total garbage bulbs, both bulbs burned out in less than a year, one was done after 1 month, DO NOT BUY!!!!!! *by S***F on Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2014* To preface, I had purchased direct from SexyLEDs their 4W, 40 Watt replacement 320 lumens bulb and loved it ($20), needed 2 more for a ceiling fan. I see this for half the price and figure I can return it if it is wrong. Well... it looks to be about the same brightness as the one from direct... it is branded just like the other bulb with SexyLED on it and it says 5W... but there is no way that it is brighter than the other one if anything, just a hair dimmer... the only problem I see is that the color is whiter... it says right on it that it is around 2850 K which is whiter than the 2700 K of the other one I have... but not that big a deal as I'm just going to buy 2 more of the same.For the record, I bought this from ChiChinLighting, I see in the reviews that the other sellers are not bright at all (I couldn't tell you as I did not order from them)... btw these are slightly brighter in my opinion than the small incandescent 40W bulbs I was using which would burn out every few months due to poor ceiling fan design, the fan casing gets really hot and burns them out quickly, but I love the fans, hoping these will work much better as they don't heat up anywhere near as much as regular bulbs. And for those that have special sizing needs, I had to break the glass to make them fit, it was quite easy to do with a hammer, just tap the glass, done, works perfectly.I am very happy with the bulb so far, of course it's only been a day. Would say 5 stars but the description is wrong. Shipping Prime got here on time in 2 days.Update: May 2015: I am dropping these down to 1 star as they are total garbage. Both burned out before 1 year and 1 was done after 1 month. The other bulb that I paid $20 for is still burning brightly, so it appears that these are indeed fake junk, too bad, I had high hopes that these would be just as good for half the price. The others have dropped to $15 or so now, but still. DO NOT BUY THESE. ### ⭐⭐ FAKE bulbs, trading on another company's quality product *by G***L on Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2014* These were sold as SEXY LEDS but they were NOT the same as previous bulbs we purchased from SEXY LEDS. The real SEXY LEDS we purchased earlier are still working beautifully despite being used longer. Two of the five of these died within six months. After contacting the manufacturer and discovering these were FAKE, we returned them. (Amazon was great about processing the return.)The bulbs actually look nice and emit a fine light, the quality is just not the same as the real thing. When looking closely at the real bulbs compared to these, the manufacturing differences are obvious. These are a cheap knockoff of the real thing that do not last.
