Trouble is the line feed mechanism was designed by a half wit. I spend more time trying to get the line to feed than I do strimming!! I MAY have sorted it by taking a pair of scissors to the white thin plastic which surrounds the spool. Overall it is a POOR quality design which needs serious re-engineering. BTW I purchased the high power battery which is OK but expensive. Used it again today. As usual spent MUCH more time trying to get the strimmer thread to be useable than actually strimming.
