The camera reports 'time remaining' for battery life. Fully charged, these report significantly less the the old original. So I decided to test them. I did several tests. For both batteries I recorded the the capacity at 830mAh, almost half of the advertised 1600mAh! My original Sony battery tested at 850mAh, 16 years old and still better than these 'new' ones. My test method was monitoring current flow through a constant load and stopping when the battery voltage had dropped below 3.0V. I'd have no problem if these were advertised as 800mAh batteries but to say they are 1600mAh is not good. I reported it to desertcart via the return process so hopefully this advert will be corrected soon.
