Review: Excelent - I put these on my lifted 2000 XJ Cherokee. The ride difference is very good. The cornering and braking were amazingly better. Highly recommend these shocks. If you have bar pin eliminater kit on your XJ you will have to remove the bar pin from the shocks. This is not easy. You will also have to get new hourglass bushings I got them from energy suspension. If possible see if you can get the shocks with the bar pin already out.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How’s the ride quality? Are they stiff or comfortable?**
A: I did this set with a full rough country 3", rear leafs and all.. They do ride pretty stiff, but once the vehicle has weight, like more camping gear or people the ride is much better. It may mellow out in time, the xj is just pretty light so there's not that much force on em till weight is added.

**Q: Some say these fit the 4.5 and other say no.. so will they?**
A: They will work. I have them on mine with an XJ with a 4.5. May not get as much down travel but I was more worried about botttoming them out. I dont push mine real hard. I also have bar pin eliminators that make up a little bit of that half inch.

**Q: will these work at stock ride height?**
A: No. You will have to get the ones for stock suspension height.

**Q: Are they gold brushed?**
A: I purchased these. They are brushed aluminum. It makes a nice looking, durable finished product.

Oh my gosh I can't say enough about these shocks! By far the best shocks for the money! They made a loyal customer out of me! These shocks came with a nice feature for the front. These actually have a Allen key cutout on top for easy install, no need to clamp onto the shaft! And the ride quality is amazing! My Jeep can hit some nice size bumps at a great speed and it just soaks them up. Great quality, great product, smooth ride! (Jeep has Rubicon express 3.5" lift)
