Some of the users claim a very short bulb life** A: Sylvania warrantys for a year if purchased through an authorized dealer. BulbAmerica on Amazon is not one. Their warranty is only 30 days! iServe on Amazon sells the bulbs for the same price and is an authorized dealer. I like the bulbs but one just went out after less than 3 months. I just purchased the bulbs again, but this time I was observant enough to look for an authorized seller on Amazon. Since the bulbs tend to have a short life, definitely buy from a seller that covers the factory 12 month warranty. Benefit from my hard learned lesson. **Q: I'm replacing the bulbs on my 2009 Dodge Ram. Which of these options would be the brightest/whitest? The 9006, 9008, or H11?** A: Your Dodge Ram uses H13 bulbs (9008) for both hi/low beams. 9006, 9008, H11 are just sizes and your vehicle will only be able to accommodate just one size. As far as brightness goes, you have halogen, then the advanced halogen (silver star, ultra, xyz, etc...) but I would recommend a good set of HIDs if you really want true brightness. Just don't go over 5000K because that's when the lights start to change colors and what not. I paid almost $40 for a pair of silver stars, they were definitely an improvement over my original halogen bulbs but didn't last long. I would say in three months time, the brightness was just the same as my original halogens, if not worse. After I got rid of my silver stars, I went with HIDs and never looked back! **Q: The h11 bulb is it for high and low is it a separate bulb?** A: The h11 is not high and low beam I used h9003 silverstar but I would not buy this brand again twice they have only last did about 9 month and not too bright as it advertises. After I had made that post, I went to the actual Sylvania store site within Amazon and submitted a complaint. They got back in touch with me by email and requested my proof of purchase. Without me making any demands, they apologized, acknowledged that some problem products slip through the inspection system and sent me a replacement light bulb! I consider that excellent customer service! I have been using their bulbs for years (this one and the next price level down) and have always been pleased with the product. Now I am impressed with their customer service as well! I changed my rating from one star to five! PREVIOUS NEGATIVE POST: I purchased a set of these in December of '25 and the bulb had burned out buy mid-April of '26. These bulbs are too expensive to only last 4 months. They SHOULD last at least a year or two. NOT! And there is not recourse if you buy them on Amazon.
