I wanted to like these shoes, and I did... at first. Upon further inspection they appear to be lightly used. There was some kind of sticky stuff stuck to the suede on the back ankle of the left shoe. Some of the markings on the rubber of the shoe also are worn off in some parts. The front of the left shoe had some scuffing around the toe. The only thing about the shoe that I liked was the fit. They fit as expected and were actually quite comfortable. Ouch! He has been wearing bandaids and thick socks to combat this problem. The way they are constructed, the seam is right down the center of the back of the shoe, and the material is heavy duty and thick. The seam is hard and thick right on the lower ankle. My hope is that it softens up and stops hurting or they will be sitting in the closet.
