So when it's on I've had batteries last 25 to 28 days. But. Sometimes as little as 15 days . I come to realize after 6 months it's just Disco lighting for mice after they get use to lights . I think the cheap dryer sheets work with the traps ... I use this unit on the mini van when we go out of town for a few days. Just in case.. Good Luck. **Q: Will this repel lizards? Does ultrasonic works on lizards? Can lizards hear loud bombarding ultrasonic sound?** A: Don't know, it says it's for rodents. **Q: Does it bother dogs? I need this for desert camping but have dogs.** A: Not at all. I have dogs and cats and has no effect on them. **Q: Are the lights and sound motion activated?** A: No, they are not motion activated. However, if moved or vibrated, they turn off. Thinking is that if installed in a vehicle, you don’t need them blinking as the vehicle is moving. ## Frequently Bought Together - Under Hood Animal Car Repeller Battery Operated Rodent Electronic Repellent Ultra Sonic Rat Strobe Light Mouse Repelling Device for Pest in Car 2 Pack - Amazon Basics 12-Pack C Cell Alkaline All-Purpose Batteries, 1.5 Volt, 5-Year Shelf Life --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/216962358-loraffe-wireless-under-hood-rodent-repeller](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/216962358-loraffe-wireless-under-hood-rodent-repeller) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
