Well, it seems that someone read the reviews and changed things. I received a brand new tank that was covered with an Amazon box and taped in place. The valve is brand new and not damaged in any way. I took it to Costco where they are charging 1.99, which is 50% cheaper than Uhaul. No questions asked, it was hooked up and filled. I have to say, it is heavy and a bit awkward to lift when it is full.
