Review: Improved my cats eating habits - I have 4 cats and 2 of them love to hurry up and eat their food then try to push the other cats away from their bowls and eat their food too. I purchased 1 set of 2 of these to see if I could help keep the 2 cats from rushing through their food and eating so much. I was nervous at first because all of my cats eat out of raised bowls but my cats love these feeding mats. I immediately saw a difference in their eating speed. It has helped them to slow down while eating and has stopped them running to the other cats' bowls to try to eat up their food. Now each cat has a chance to eat their own food. I recommend these mats if you have a cat that tries to eat up all the food from other cats. It has definitely improved their eating habits.

I ditched the blue mat after five days because it’s a pain to keep clean. I couldn’t release the wet food from the tiny squares even with the jet setting on my outdoor hose. I used an old toothbrush, but that’s a pain, too. Much easier to clean the green mat. (Prev review) I love this and my cat loves this. It’s been working great (purchased May 2022) until it got this weird stain and greasiness on it (see photos). I always store this clean, so, this isn’t because of food residue. So, I washed it and the greasiness went away, although not the orange stain. I used this particular mat in our camper when we travel, so, after washing it I stored it in the pantry. About a month later I brought it out and the greasiness had returned. It’s a mystery, and decided that I didn’t want my cat eating off of it anymore. Other than the greasiness and the stain, this is a good product.
