I have used many different hair mask and conditioning treatments. Most allow me to put on at the beginning of my shower then rinse out when I'm done, but this product works a little differently. FYI to use this product: 1) damp your hair, 2) apply, 3) leave on for about 2 hours, then 4) shampoo/condition as usual. A little more time consuming, which makes it a little less convenient for me to use.The coconut oil was also extremely hard upon arrival. It does instruct to let the container sit in hot water for awhile to soften up. I did as instructed, but it took quite awhile for it to become soft enough to apply to my hair.That being said, when I did have several free hours and was able to soften it, it worked wonderfully! My hair felt super soft, frizz-free, and shiny. It also smelled really great! I notice a HUGE differenceafter i use it. Makes my hair feel healthy and soft. I use a hair straightener a lot so it helps with damage from the heat. I have long curly hair so I use about 1/4 to 1/3 of the bottle with each mask so if you have longer or thicker hair just know you are probably only getting 3-4 masks out of the bottle.
