desertcart.com : TUTTOCALABRIA Calabrian Crushed Dry Chili Pepper Flakes, Large Shaker, 250g | Dry Chili Flakes for Pizza, Pasta and Recipes, All-Natural and Non-GMO Seasoning, Product of Italy, 8.81 oz : Chili Powder Spices And Herbs : Grocery & Gourmet Food

Review: Better than most - Excellent flake texture, not much dusty powder. Not super hot (which I miss) but flavorful.
Review: Red pepper flakes spice it up - We eat a lot of red pepper flakes so the large size was great and they tasted great. Lots of ways to use them. Mid range on the heat level-but we eat a lot of spicy foods. Price was in line with the quantity. The only problem we had was with closing the lid, once we opened it it was hard to get it to stay closed.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Anyone know whether these are air dried or oven dried?**
A: I don’t know the answer, but I can tell you these are the best chili flakes I’ve ever had.

**Q: What's the difference between these and the tutto calabria hot chili peppers crushed? same company and same description but 2x more costly?**
A: These are hotter than the un-crushed. The chili peppers can be used whole for long cooking and hold up well or grinded down and just as flavorful as the crushed. Your preference.

**Q: Has anyone else received a jar that had no anti-tamper or freshness seal?**
A: My bottle had a freshness seal on it. It did not have a tamper resistant seal though.

**Q: Some reviews say there is salt in it, and some say there isnt. How are we to know for sure?**
A: Salt? I don't think so. I've been to Calabria many times and this is the closest I found to what I could buy in Italy. Buy it! I can also recommend https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TNRQ1YD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
