I prefer stopping at half way and TURNING the nose part opposite so that both sides gets irrigated. Unlike other salt water irrigation systems, one has to blow your nose ONCE; there is NO liquid running down your nose and into your throat. This is EASY, quick, and relatively mess free. And did I tell you it WORKS? Can't say enough. I am thinking of sending one to the relative who has been nice enough to mail the pods to me as she suffers from allergies.
