There are no mounting holes but the feet are wide enough to accommodate drilling holes. The big advantage is the two speed pump, that allows more speed under low load and pressure increases once under load. **Q: what fitting is on the end of the hose, male or female?** A: Male hose end, will fit in most high pressure cylinders **Q: What thread is on pump body? I want to add a gauge between pump body and hose.** A: The pump body thread is BSPT 3/8" female. The hose thread is BSPT 3/8" male, both ends. This makes finding fittings a nightmare. **Q: The pump says "2 speed." I cannot figure out how to switch speeds on this pump. I used it to remove a pressed-on gear with a shaft diameter of 1.375 inches. It makes a loud screeching noise when it goes to the high-pressure mode, and with about all the force I could apply to the operating lever, the maximum pressure obrtainable was about 6000 to 7000 psi. At this pressure the ram barely moved. Like the other review stated, I believe the check valves are not seating properly. Junked it and bought an Enerpac like I should have in the beginning. Too late to get a refund.
