They were all rubbish. This one actually seems to work correctly though. I can zero calibrate it outside, and see levels rise in poorly ventilated spaces within a few minutes as the device adjusts. And going outside and measuring it returns to basline levels. This alone is better than any of the other devices I've bought and gives me great peace of mind that it is actually likely to be detecting co2 accurately. if nothing else this device is precise and consistent. The history files is USB downloadable, which is extremely convenient. I tend to focus a lot on PM2.5 and many low-end meters seem to indicate too low at the low end of the range. This one seems to be a little better. I expected to be able to see the last 96 seconds on the graph but after 96 seconds it switches to 0-48 minutes and then larger intervals but the bar on the graph averages in more time to represent one bar as time goes on. It is not all that useful because once it gets past 96 seconds small changes in air quality sort of get lost to being averaged out with the other chunk of data for each bar on the graph. If you leave it on for hours at a time the graph is all pretty much just equal bars bc changes get averaged out too much. **Q: can this device store monitored data and can I transfer monitored data to computer?can I use it for outdoors?** A: Store: No, Transfer: No, Outdoors: Yes, but don't get wet and do not use if it maxes out the particle count as it can damage it. But if you're maxing it out, you should probably not be outdoors at that location :) **Q: how long does each sensor last? Several sensors from M10, M1000's only last for 3 years, do that apply to this one too?** A: The sensor life is 3 years for particle sensor **Q: How do you perform initial calibration? Bad idea. Instructions are so tiny I still couldn't read it with a magnifier so I had to go on the website to download the manual. Absolutely no Customer Service. Battery lasts about 30 minutes. Using it with my other 2 sensors it didn't detect high C02 and VOC levels that the other ones did. Overall, I"m shocked at the positive reviews. It's even difficult to return. They wait 30 days to refund and you have to print your own label. This device loses at every level. Don't waste your time or money. UPDATE: I had high expectations for this monitor because it's listed on the EPA website as having been tested and approved by them. The first device I received was defective. Customer Service sent me a new one and it works. They also sent better instructions. It's really more of a detector than a monitor as it doesn't seem to be designed to be left on all day as my other monitor is. It has a USB connector so you can hook it up to your computer and store data readings.
