Review: Stellar customer service!! - We have an 85” Samsung TV and we ordered one of the wall tv mounts as well as the heavy duty soundbar mount for up to 26.5 lb soundbars. Our Samsung soundbar is big and heavy and was about 20(ish) lbs. When we got the mount we realized the 2 support arms that attach to the back to the TV (or an existing tv mount) were too short. We contacted Mounting Dream which is in CA. We had to leave a voicemail to which I thought “great this is probably never going to get a response to, and if so may takes weeks.” To my surprise we received a call back from Lilly about 20 mins later. She confirmed our TV size a brand and explained that for some reason most Samsung TV’s have this issue as their mounting holes are higher up than most other TV brands and cannot accommodate the regular length arms. She said they would ship out longer supports arms to accommodate our TV and have them to us in 3-5 days for no additional charge. We received them and they worked perfectly! Shout out to Mounting Dream and Lilly for fixing our issue ASAP and providing such great customer service!! Would definitely recommend to anyone. And we love our TV mount from them also!
Review: Need a little skill, but result is good. - Finding a suitable soundbar mount is becoming increasingly difficult. As TVs and soundbars grow larger and adopt more unique shapes, mounting becomes tricky—especially with newer models featuring upward-firing Atmos drivers that require specific clearance from the TV's bottom edge. I am installing my LG S80TY soundbar onto an LG C5 77" TV using the Mounting Dream MD5428 kit in conjunction with a MantelMount MM340. A major challenge I encountered was that the soundbar’s bottom mounting holes are approximately 28 inches apart, which is wider than the standard horizontal bar included in the MD5428 kit (which is only 27.56"). I had to contact the manufacturer to request their 41" horizontal bar to ensure the bracket was wider than the soundbar itself. Furthermore, LG soundbars are so long and deep that the standard holes on the bracket tray didn't line up. I had to drill new holes myself to securely lock the soundbar onto the tray, as shown in the photo. Ultimately, the final outcome is highly satisfactory. The bracket is robust and comes well-equipped with various components for customization. Customer support was excellent, promptly providing the longer horizontal bar upon request. While the installation is relatively straightforward, achieving perfect compatibility between the TV, soundbar, and mount requires some prior research and a bit of DIY capability

Finding a suitable soundbar mount is becoming increasingly difficult. As TVs and soundbars grow larger and adopt more unique shapes, mounting becomes tricky—especially with newer models featuring upward-firing Atmos drivers that require specific clearance from the TV's bottom edge. I am installing my LG S80TY soundbar onto an LG C5 77" TV using the Mounting Dream MD5428 kit in conjunction with a MantelMount MM340. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Almost perfect....

So I like this mount for several reasons..... 1st -- I was able to install it without taking my 85" tv off of the wall.... I simply removed one of the tv's mounting bracket screws -- slid in this mounts hardware coming down and re-secured it. Then I did the other side.... easy. 2nd -- it's heavy duty and had no problem holding my Samsung Q990C. Now what I dont like --- you are able to secure the sound bar to the mount with screws through the bottom brackets -- HOWEVER -- the bottom brackets expand/contract and secure with their own nut.... well -- the brackets are opened to the correct size for my sound bar -- the nut that the bracket comes with blocks access to the holes into my soundbar.... bottom line -- the only way to secure my sound bar to this bracket was to simply "sit it on there". it's not going to fall off, BUT -- i'm not a fan of the front part of the bracket not having a cushion to protect my soundbar. So close to perfection -- but not perfect...
