Skar Audio engineered the IX-10 D4 10-inch car subwoofer to be the best sounding and most powerful driver in it's class. This subwoofer is designed and built with so many premium features it's hard to believe it is a budget friendly model. Featuring a dual 4 ohm, high temperature, 2" copper voice coil which is combined with a powerful ferrite motor, the IX-10 D4 is conservatively rated at 200 watts RMS and 400 watts max power. Not only do these subwoofers have the ability to get very loud, they also sound great and produce strong, accurate, and powerful low end frequency response. Utilizing a high strength paper cone, superior foam surround, and designed with advanced air flow cooling, the reliability and overall performance of this subwoofer is unmatched. Sold individually. Review: these things are the best budget subwoofer i’ve ever owned - for only being a 10 inch subwoofer this thing absolutely bumps. i have 2 of them wired at 1 ohm in a potted box sitting in the trunk of my car, along with 2 more skar audio 8” subs. one an ix series and the other a vd series. though this subwoofer sounds great and has a great frequency response and clarity, i would recommend putting it in a sealed box. i’ve never been able to fully blow one of these subwoofers. i’ve pushed over 1000 watts of clean power through one while testing it. played for maybe 15-20 minutes at that power. the thing took the beating and didn’t even think twice. now if you’re reading this, please don’t do this. these things are great entry level subwoofers and i would recommend them from anything from car audio to home theater applications. two of these are powered quite well from a rockville rva-m2 amplifier or a standalone single channel amplifier if being used in home theaters.

Para mayor sonido recomendaría una serie más avanzada ya que este es de 200RMS. La calidad de los materiales es excelente, llego bien empaquetado y con mucho tiempo de anticipación.
