Review: Great mat, cleans well, colour stays if clean with basic multi surface spray. - Not use belch on it but it clean very well and is durable I using it as my main PC mat and dinner mat. After my gaming mat got dirty and messy, this mat is really got and whips down great if food on drinks on it. With my room colours being black and wood furniture the mat add a little class to the desk. Having owned one for myself I been considering it as a gift item for friend etc as quality on mine has been top spec. It's price but worth every penny.

The mat seems to be made from a high-quality material, not 100% sure if it's real leather or not- nevertheless I have no complaints. It's extremely easy to clean and settles down very quickly once out of the packaging. I opted for the brown colour and I can say I am extremely happy with it; it's very much the colour shown in the product image. The underside of the mat is covered in a felt material which heavily reduces the amount it slides around on the table. I would most definitely recommend!

A: Only answer that I bought the product it smells of leather and texture  abd suppleness of leather.  You might have got a different item to me.

**Q: Is there a way to get rid of a pen mark from the mat?**
A: Try washing up liquid

**Q: Is this desk mat hard? As in if I was to write with a single piece of paper, would the pen dig in and make a hole.**
A: The desk mat is a little bit soft but hard enough to allow writing with a ball pen on a single piece of paper. I can recommend the desk mat.

**Q: How thick is this?**
A: I estimate at around 2mm thick. Any thicker and I think you would puncture the paper as you wrote on it. I like mine very much and I use it both for writing on but also as a mouse mat.

Brilliant desk pad, the size is perfect for me & it looks great on my desk. I had a different make of pad before that was too small but it was made of a near identical material, so I'd say this is no more premium than some other options on Amazon, but if you buy the Galloway one you won't be disappointed.
