Came in a sturdy box so was appropriately protected during travel. I had high hopes and this book did not disappoint. The leather is beautiful and sturdy. I gave it 4 stars on sturdiness because I haven't really put it through through test yet. However it does seem like it could take abuse. The paper in the binder clips is a good thickness and is protected by a piece of clear plastic. When I pulled on the paper it didn't rip immediately like some do. However I do wish they hasn't put the words "The Classic" on every single sheet of paper front and back. It is at the top of the page as if it were a heading. I should have taken a closer look at that particular picture but I'm just being picky. The lock is cute and easy to program. They do include a "what to do if you forget your password" piece of paper. The quality is excellent. Very sturdy, solid and even when you hold it you can feel a good weight of the quality. It feels very executive when you touch and feel it and write on it. It is a little thick but in a good way , it’s not your average light weight journal that will get ruined if you rough it up. The leather is very soft but feels high quality. And the stitches on the leather is very good as well. It seems like the overall quality of making the journal was very thought out. The journal itself when you write on it, you know your writing on a good quality paper and journal. It’s an amazing experience. I would highly, highly recommend this journal that wants a solid diary or journal that they need for everyday notes or a planner to write down their goals. Another great thing about this journal is that it is a binder type, meaning you can also put in more pages if you like. Similar writing paper for this journal can be found and bought here on Amazon; so I thought that was very convenient. So it’s not like once you run out of pages you have to buy a whole new journal—you don’t have to do that, just add more pages!Very cool and excited to put this journal to use!It is also gift-able as well.
