This Singer has a smaller footprint, is quieter, and includes a carrying handle. So far it's worked wonderfully. The only issue that we've had is that it doesn't come with a manual. You can buy a 160 something page manual in three languages for about $20, or you can download a PDF version for free and save it to your computer or phone. Additionally, you can print off whole copy or just the pages you need.
