Review: Excellent Headset for Office Use - I got this headset from my office. The headset is excellent for professionals and it connects seamlessly with phone and the laptop simultaneously, providing easy switching between the two. The headphones are comfortable to wear for hours. My head is a bit large but putting them on for hours at end does not cause any discomfort for the ears and head, courtesy super soft memory foam on the ear pieces and elastic band for the head. Call voice quality is very good for calls and as people on the other side of the call have give the feedback, mic quality is also quite good (I use Skype for meetings and I've iPhone 8 plus for phone calls). But it is not for audiophiles as quality of notes while listening to music is strictly okay, not superb. Some of my cheaper headphones, like even Skullcandy, have better output for music. But they come nowhere close to Plantronics Focus for making calls or basically for business use. On the other hand, these should be good enough for gaming for most people. The headphone provides a lot of features which are quite handy. There is ANC but it doesn't really drown the background noise altogether as these are On-the-Ear headphones, not Over-the-Ear. So the noise sneaks in from the sides. Anyway, I don't feel comfortable with any ANC on. So it is mostly off and I only use it when there is background noise in the office while taking the calls, for which it quite suffices. The padding itself provides some level of noise isolation, which I feel is good in general. So as a summary, I would say that these headphone are worth the money and these should be your go-to premium business headphones in this budget range. I'm quite happy with the product and would recommend to professionals who are mostly on the go.

A: This is one of my concerns before I bought this headset. Even I saw the previous answer, I still decided to give a try. The answer is, yes, you can hear yourself when you talk, you can hear yourself for both noise cancellation and non noise cancellation modes. I am so glad I can hear myself during the phone meetings.

I got this headset from my office. The headset is excellent for professionals and it connects seamlessly with phone and the laptop simultaneously, providing easy switching between the two. The headphones are comfortable to wear for hours. My head is a bit large but putting them on for hours at end does not cause any discomfort for the ears and head, courtesy super soft memory foam on the ear pieces and elastic band for the head. Call voice quality is very good for calls and as people on the other side of the call have give the feedback, mic quality is also quite good (I use Skype for meetings and I've iPhone 8 plus for phone calls). But it is not for audiophiles as quality of notes while listening to music is strictly okay, not superb. Some of my cheaper headphones, like even Skullcandy, have better output for music. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Das (für mich) perfekte Büro-Headset

Ich habe folgende Anforderungen an mein Headset fürs Büro - es muss mit Skype (for Business) gut funktionieren - das ist mein Telefon fürs Büro - es muss kabellos sein - ich muss mit meinem Surface Tablet auch schnell zum Telefonieren in eine Kabine wechseln können - es muss - bei Bedarf - die Umgebungsgeräusche gut abschirmen - die Batterielaufzeit sollte einen Arbeitstag mindestens überstehen Mit dieser Liste habe ich mich auf die Suche gemacht - habe bei Kollegen viele Hersteller und Modelle getestet und bin schließlich beim Plantronics UC B825-M gelandet (das -M bedeutet, dass es für die Nutzung mit Microsoft Skype ausgelegt ist) Das Headset kommt mit einer flachen, mit Reisverschluss schließbaren Transporttasche, die leicht gepolstert ist. in der Innentasche befinden sich das USB Dongle und ein USB Kabel zum aufladen des Headset. Das Aufladen funktioniert sehr schnell und problemlos. Das Headset kann dabei weiter aktiv sein, so dass ich es bei ankommenden Anrufen einfach abstöpseln kann und danach wieder anschließe. (Achtung: das Headset kommt ohne Klinkenstecker und Audio-Kabel - dieses kann auch nicht verwendet werden. Das Headset funktioniert rein kabellos!) Das Dongle steckt man in eine USB BUchse am Rechner und es zeigt über eine gut sichtbare LED an, ob es verbunden und frei (blau) oder verbunden und man im Gespräch ist (rot). Das Headset ist bereits mit Auslieferung damit verbunden so dass es ein reines Plug-and-Play ist. Das Headset lässt sich in der Weite in 10 Stufen auf jeder Seite verstellen - mir passt direkt die Stufe 0 - hier findet aber jeder Kopf Platz. Der Kopfhörer liegt aber nicht direkt auf dem Kopf auf - sondern hat ein frei schwebendes Kissen dazwischen, was diesen Kopfhörer extrem angenehm zu tragen macht. Die Stelle, an der fixe Bügel anderer Geräte oben auf dem Kopf aufliegen und nach einiger Zeit schmerzen, ist hier so gering belastet, dass ich diesen Kopfhörer auch über lange Zeit tragen kann. Die Lautsprecher liegen gut gepolstert auf den Ohren auf - und obwohl sie die Ohren NICHT umschließen, schirmen sie einen effektiv von der Umgebung ab. Schaltet man noch das Active Noice Cancelling dazu, steht einem entspannten Arbeiten im Büro kaum noch etwas im Weg. Das Mikrofon lässt sich stufenlos in der höhe verstellen und ist für Links- und Rechts-träger geeignet. Auf einer Hörmuschel ist aussen ein einfach zu bedienendes Schaltfeld zur Musiksteuerung enthalten, ebenso eine einfache Lautstärkensteuerung - in der anderen seite zeigen LEDs an, wie weit der Akku geladen ist. Man kann mit der mitgeliferten Software nicht nur Updates einspielen, sondern auch Einstellungen vornehmen: Das Headset hat Bewegungssensoren, die erkennen, wenn man es hochnimmt und aufsetzt bzw. absetzt. Es kann dann automatisch einen Anruf annehmen oder beenden. Ausserdem kann man sich die verbleibende "Talktime" Schätzung ansagen lassen. Ich komme ohne Laden über mindestens 2-3 Tage Büro (etwas weniger, wenn ich nebenher noch Musik über den Kopfhörer höre) Es gibt noch ein Paket des Kopfhörers zu kaufen, bei dem auch ein Ladegerät mitgeliefert wird, da hängt man den Kopfhörer leicht ein und nimmt ihn zum telefonieren ab. Mir reicht die einfache Variante mit dem USB Ladekabel - ist nur minimal weniger komfortabel und kostet weniger. Ausserdem muss ich die Ladestation ich immer mitnehmen und aufräumen. Wenn man jetzt meine Anforderungen und die Beschreibung des Voyager Fous UC 825-M ansieht, werden alle Punkte erfüllt. Daher: mein perfektes Headset für das Büro.
