However, that is not the most important question to ask about this automatic transmission fluid (ATF). The more important question is it compatible with your Nissan automatic transmission. If the owner's manual for your vehicle specifies Nissan Matic-S, J, or D ATF then your can use it. Type S ATF is backwards compatible with types J and D. A Google search will prove this. I would not use this specialty ATF in transmissions where its use is not specified.
