Review: They are what they are, and that's great! - I love these speakers and I love the price. I have a low-cost, Class D receiver (from a well-known Japanese electronics manufacturer) that puts out 10 watts RMS per channel (20 total) that sounded flat and scratchy with the factory provided speakers. I wanted to try a speaker upgrade and the reviews and price of these Singing Wood speakers fit the bill. I attached them to my receiver with 16-gauge, 100 percent copper speaker wire. I was instantly shocked at the improvement I heard when I fired them up for the first time. More depth from the bass and clearer, crisper treble, while still retaining a decent mid-range. All in all, they really fill out our 20 x 10 foot kitchen with beautiful music that didn’t bust the bank. BTW, you only need 5 - 30 watts RMS per channel (10 – 60 total) to drive these speakers. It says so right on the box.
Review: Beautiful, nice sound, well engineered - I needed these after my old powered speakers died. I have a yamaha receiver and I plugged these into the main l/r and they sound great. I turned on an old Blader Runner mp4 and couldn't be happier. I really appreciate a well engineered and thought out product. The connectors can take either a banana plug or just speaker wire, which they provide. No problem identifying the l/r as the wire is color coded and stripped and tinned on the ends. The jacks unscrew to reveal a small hole to put the wire through, easier than trying to wrap it around, which you could also do. The terminals are even on a bit of an angle to make it easier. I got the wood finish, and they look fabulous. Nice setup for hanging them all the wall also and the front covers can come off, just like my $3000 JBLs on my other system. These can also serve as a nice pair of surround speakers. The price is so great I might buy another pair and use one for a center speaker. I did add a bit of eq from my receiver, to boost the high end, but no distortion. I don't play them very loud, as I've left my hippie days behind, but they did take a decent volume level. All in all, a great purchase.

I love these speakers and I love the price. I have a low-cost, Class D receiver (from a well-known Japanese electronics manufacturer) that puts out 10 watts RMS per channel (20 total) that sounded flat and scratchy with the factory provided speakers. I wanted to try a speaker upgrade and the reviews and price of these Singing Wood speakers fit the bill. I attached them to my receiver with 16-gauge, 100 percent copper speaker wire. Sounds Great And Good Build Quality Too Comes With Speaker Wire the Only Thing I Didn't Like About it was it came with one small deep scratch on the Black Oak Wood Grain The Seller Was Very Nice And Polite About the Issue I Recommend People to Buy It For the Good Sound Quality and Build Quality Too The Price is Good And it's Worth Buying it That why I am Rating it 4 Stars
